The wiki FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
A wiki is a collabrative software that allows the visitors of a site to add or edit the content found there. The most prominent example of a wiki right now is Wikipedia. Wikipedia even has an excellent entry on wiki.
In our case, this wiki is meant to be a tool for the community to communicate, post events, put up pictures, and build a base of knowledge and experience.
A wiki serves us becasue many people can use and edit it with little central control.
Logging in to our wiki is snap. No registration is required. All you do is put in the wiki-wide password and enter your name and email. If you dont know the password and you are involved with the Albany Greens then simply send an email to LCGucker@yahoo.com saying who your are and that you need the password.
The best way to go about making a new page is to simply use the 'New Page' button at the top and bottom of the page once you are logged in. Using this method you will have access to a number of pre-made templates that you can overwrite to make your new page. The only tricky thing using this method is that you need to remember to go make a link to your page somewhere, otherwise no one will be able to get there.
