Minutes from February 20, 2008

Salvete, amici!

The meeting this week was full of both tears and chuckles, since we like to keep things dramatic in the Campus Greens. Also, we found out what our evil alter ego villains would be.

Anddd here is some actual information.

Ye Olde Businesse-

The County Fundraiser dinner/potluck thing was a smashing success! Alice Green stopped by and left a nice fat check in her wake! I believe something to the tune of $637 was raised. This money will be put to good use sending delegates to Chicago to meet the Green candidates there.

Ye Newe Businesse-

Vassar Conference!!! The lovely senor Bissell-Evans just sent out a reminder about this gathering. There are about 7 EXTREMEMLY coveted seats left!!! Reply soon! It shall be a delightful adventure.

SAC and SAC tabling- Everyone knows that the Social Action Conference will be occurring next week on Fri, the 29th of Feb and Sat, the 1st of Mar next week...right..? So, we need some brave souls to table during this event between 930am and 430 pm on both days. Also, if anyone would like to volunteer to speak during either the

anti-war or environmentalism panel, this would be GREATLY appreciated. If you're interested

in helping out, email Brandon or Lee Frances.

Movie Night- The Campus Greens will be showing An Unreasonable Man on Thurs, Feb 28th at 7:30 in LC 6. Delicious snacks will be provided, so make sure you fast all day beforehand. There may be a discussion about the importance of 3rd party candidates upon the film's completion. Make sure you're there!!
